Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

I braved the crowds today and took lots of pictures of the parade that celebrates turkey day. Some of them turned out OKish, I have uploaded the ones I didn’t have the heart to delete onto my flickr account
I have one question though, what the hell is this thing ?
